My Promise: A Plan That Fits Your Real Life
My name is Dallas Price. My journey to becoming a financial planner wasn’t a straight line—it was born from a period of profound personal change that taught me the importance of security, stability, and human connection.
A few years ago, I found myself needing to change careers. I began helping local businesses and families with their life insurance needs. To be honest, it was a struggle at first. But one day, everything clicked. After helping a couple expand their life insurance, the wife stood up from the table, and gave me a hug.
In that moment, I understood the real impact of this work. It wasn’t about products; it was about giving that family a greater sense of clarity and control over their future.
Growing up, I knew what it felt like to face financial stress. While I may not have known what perfect financial security felt like then, I know now that we can work to foster that feeling. We can build a plan designed to help families navigate economic hardship and give them the confidence to pursue the future they envision. That one conversation changed my professional life and set me on the path I’m on today.
My Professional Journey
I officially began helping families and small business owners in 2020. I started with a focus on insurance—life, home, auto, and disability—taking on a comprehensive review role to help people in the Salt Lake City area identify and protect against everyday financial risks.
In 2023, I expanded my services to include financial planning and investment management to provide a truly complete picture. Today, I help clients with long-term strategies for retirement, budgeting, college savings, and investment allocations—all built around their personal goals and values.
How We’ll Work Together
My goal for our first meeting is simple: for you to walk away with a crystal-clear picture of where you are today and what your next steps can be. I want you to feel heard, understood, and confident that I can help you get where you want to go.
We’ll do this by talking through some important questions:
- How do we know your current plan has the right coverage in the right amounts?
- How do you manage the cash flow in your household?
- What are the long-term goals you’re truly saving for?
- What is your personal tolerance for risk?
- What do you want your legacy to look like?
This isn’t a sales pitch; it’s the start of a partnership.
Life Beyond the Ledger
When I’m not helping clients, my time is dedicated to my family and the community we call home. All five of my kids are in Utah schools, and I’m passionate about their education and our time together (which often includes a bit of Roblox on Saturdays).
To stay balanced, you can usually find me at the gym, or if it’s summer, in the pool. I love hiking our beautiful Wasatch mountains—I was just up the Little Cottonwood Creek trail. I’m also active in our local Toastmasters and Connect Utah groups, always looking for ways to grow and contribute to our community.
